I was once asked, what are the first three words that come to mind when you think about Crooked Tree? They were grace, space and privacy. Crooked Tree manifests these qualities indeed but . . . it also encompasses so much more.
Crooked Tree is only minutes from Penticton (ten or so, depending on who is driving) yet upon arrival the feeling is of a far greater distance. Here above the Naramata Bench Wineries, life is quiet, private, serene . . . heavenly! The sky is vast, the view superb, the sunsets breathtaking and the stargazing delightful. Deer are frequent visitors to our 10-acre property, elk are sighted now and again, hawks and other such creatures of flight swoop past . . . it is our sanctuary and we would love to share it with you.
Our three suites, Pine, Spruce and Fir, are very spacious at 1200 square feet each. They are totally private and completely self-contained. Each suite has three private decks. Two decks on the view elevation afford amazing vistas across and up Okanagan Lake and one at each guest entry area provides an alternate spot for relaxation.
For the past three years we have been planning and building a dream. Our goal of completing the structure has just been reached. Whew! Though we intend to leave the grounds mostly natural, we do have plans for garden areas, walkways and sitting areas that will evolve and flourish over the years to come. So . . . Crooked Tree will never totally be finished . . . really, what would we do then?
